We'll meet at the famous Gretna Green services for a first meet and greet on the morning of Friday 24th September 2021. We'll then head towards Glasgow and onto the East side of loch Lomond National Park. This is where we'll start to get a feel for the awe-inspiring views to come, heading past the peek of Ben Volich and the banks of Loch Ardeonaig to the 5-star Dunalastair Hotel. Here, we'll enjoy a 3-course evening meal in their fine restaurant. A great place to relax and get ready for tomorrows adventure through the twisty highland roads.
On day 2 leaving Dunalastair Hotel behind us, we've set a fantastic cross-country run towards the Cairngorm Mountains, here we will be taking the infamous Old Military Road through Glenshee and on towards Balmoral. After filling up on food and petrol in Inverness, we then follow the famous NC500 route north. Up the east coast and over the Kessock Bridge taking the coastal route which overlooks the North Sea up to John O' Groats for a coffee, cake and a few stunning photo opportunities. Continuing on the most northern road, we'll head west across to Bettyhill Hotel where we enjoy a more casual dinner, overlooking the dramatic scenery of the fabulous Torrisdale Beach.
After a hearty breakfast, we are ready to tackle the best and most challenging West Coast route over the famous Kylesku Bridge, down to Ullapool and a stop at Eilean Donan Castle for refreshments and food. After lunch, we'll leave fantastic Castle views behind and we'll head over the majestic Skye Bridge and across to the Isle of Skye. Passing high peaks, lochs & waterfalls heading to the family-run Cuillin Hills Hotel. With magnificent views overlooking Portree Bay, dinner is served in their restaurant, where we will enjoy their extensive menu.
Day 4 takes us on a tour of the Isle of Skye viewing Quiraing and the old man of Storr, which have provided the backdrop to films such as King Arthur, The Transformers, Stardust and Macbeth to name a few. Followed by a light lunch, we'll then take the Mallai Ferry back to the mainland where we'll then head east towards Fort William, down an amazing run of tarmac on one of the best roads leaving the Isle of Skye. We'll then head south down the east coast shores of Loch Linnhe and on to our final stop at the 4-star hotel Bridge of Orchy.
We head towards the Famous Green Welly shop to get any final souvenirs or snacks for the road ahead. A short drive later, we will be sending our exhaust notes over Loch Lomond itself with a final drink stop before we say our goodbyes. Then sadly heading for the M74 to take our route home. With memories to treasure, we hope you have enjoyed some great driving, meeting new friends in amongst scenery that's impossible to forget.

THE REQUIREMENTS
TO DRIVE WITH ALTITUDE DRIVERS CLUB
We accept most Supercars and Sports Cars on our tours, but some exclusions apply. For more information, speak to one of our team.
We only require a 20% deposit to reserve your booking and the balance isn't due until 8 weeks prior to departure. The balance can be split into monthly payments with final payment 8 weeks before the tour if you'd prefer to pay for your Supercar road trip that way. Please note that the deposit is fully refundable in the event of further COVID-19 government restrictions preventing us from travel to this area.
Drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age to be able to join our trips and need to provide a copy of their drivers license to us at least 2 weeks before we set off. Each driver will be asked to sign an indemnity form also.
As part of the experience, we will share with you a Google map route link with turn by turn instructions along with a printed map on the day showing post code waypoints and stops. Although radios are not necessary for our day tours for longer trips they are essential so we do encourage participants to purchase a Mitex General professional handset to allow our lead tour drivers to communicate with each vehicle along the way. We do insist on sensible driving but encourage this at a swift pace. Due to the nature of our tours as a group of dedicated drivers wanting the ultimate driving experience, we do not condone dangerous driving and drivers may be asked to leave the group if we find reckless behaviour that creates danger for other tour participants and road users.
