The Tour
Mark and Michael, our experienced Supercar lead drivers, will guide you on this 3-day, 2-night trip, plus optional pre-hotel. This Wales Supercar Tour will be an exhilarating and picturesque adventure! Exploring the stunning landscapes of Wales, including historic castles in Snowdonia National Park, and driving across the iconic Menai Bridge, which connects Anglesey to the mainland. Immerse yourselves in Welsh culture, cuisine, and traditions as you traverse both the breathtaking island of Anglesey and the diverse landscapes of Wales. Staying in carefully selected luxury picturesque locations for an overnight stay will enhance the overall experience with fellow members, which will undoubtedly create friendships and memorable experiences.
The Driving
Snowdonia:
The roads through Snowdonia wind through breathtaking landscapes of rugged mountains, lush valleys, and picturesque lakes. Catch glimpses of Mount Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, as you navigate through this national park.
Anglesey:
Driving on Anglesey is an unforgettable experience, offering a mix of coastal beauty and scenic countryside. As you cruise along the island’s winding roads, you’ll be treated to stunning sea views, rolling hills, and charming villages.
Lake Bala:
The drive around Lake Bala provides picturesque views of the largest natural lake in Wales. The lake is surrounded by hills and mountains, creating a scenic setting for our tour as we explore the charming villages along the lake's edge
Many car reviewers have used these incredible driving roads for filming over the years including the Evo Triangle, the back drop to the photos of your cars will be second to none on this tour. We will stop at a special venues for a long leisurely lunches so can spend time chatting to like minded supercar owners about your experience driving Wales.

Within the booking form there is also an option to stay at our pre-hotel the night before where we enjoy a group dinner to get to know your fellow companions before we depart on Friday morning.

As part of your tour package, you'll receive digital turn-by-turn navigation routes, supplemented by printed maps for each day—an excellent fallback for added convenience. To enhance your experience, two lead cars will guide the groups, ensuring everyone stays together and maximizes enjoyment throughout the event. Embarking on a drive from Kidderminster to Clywedog Reservoir, then to Bala for lunch at the Pale Hall, followed by Snowdonia National Park and ending at Portmeirion, is a thrilling and scenic journey that takes you through some of the most stunning landscapes in Wales.
Starting in Kidderminster, you'll head west, weaving through the scenic countryside towards Clywedog Reservoir. The route will offer peaceful rural views as you approach the reservoir, which is nestled in the hills of Powys. This is a great spot to stretch your legs and take in the stunning natural beauty of the area. Next, continue your journey towards Bala, a charming market town in North Wales. Here, you'll have a chance to enjoy a leisurely lunch at Pale Hall, a luxurious country house hotel known for its fine dining and welcoming atmosphere. The perfect place to relax and refuel before the next leg of the adventure. After lunch, head towards Snowdonia National Park. The drive through this magnificent park will take you past rugged mountains, deep valleys, and glistening lakes. The views of Mount Snowdon and the surrounding peaks will leave you in awe, and you'll have the opportunity to explore the park’s diverse beauty, from lush forests to dramatic rocky landscapes. Finally, continue our drive to the Portmeirion Hotel which offers a range of luxurious accommodations, from rooms in the charming village buildings to more secluded stays in the surrounding grounds. Starting your journey at **Portmeirion**, you’ll begin the day with a scenic drive through the picturesque village and head towards **Snowdonia National Park**. The route through the park will take you past towering mountains, serene lakes, and lush valleys, offering an unparalleled driving experience in one of the most beautiful landscapes in Wales. As you navigate through Snowdonia, the towering peaks, including **Mount Snowdon**, will provide a dramatic backdrop for your adventure.
From Snowdonia, continue west towards **Anglesey**, crossing the iconic **Menai Suspension Bridge** that links the island to the mainland. Once on Anglesey, you’ll head to your coastal lunch location, where you can enjoy fresh, local seafood with stunning views of the coastline and the surrounding sea. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and savor the flavors of the island. After lunch, take a leisurely **tour around Anglesey**. The island offers an incredible array of scenic coastal drives, from rugged cliffs to sandy beaches, and charming villages like Beaumaris, known for its historic castle. Starting in **Anglesey**, you’ll begin by enjoying the scenic coastal roads and picturesque villages as you make your way toward the mainland. The route will take you over the iconic **Menai Suspension Bridge**, and as you drive toward Snowdonia, the stunning landscapes of rolling hills and tranquil lakes will guide your journey. Crossing over **Snowdon**, the drive will offer breathtaking views of **Snowdonia National Park**, with its towering mountains and winding roads providing an exhilarating driving experience. As you head south from Snowdonia, the winding mountain roads will test your driving skills, with every turn revealing new vistas of rugged terrain and lush valleys. Finally, you’ll enter the **Evo Triangle**, a renowned stretch of road that has become a must-drive for car enthusiasts. This triangle of tarmac, connecting the A5, A543, and B4501, offers thrilling twists, turns, and open stretches perfect for putting your vehicle to the test. The roads here are a true driver’s paradise, with varied terrains that range from fast, sweeping curves to more technical corners. THE REQUIREMENTS
TO DRIVE WITH ALTITUDE DRIVERS CLUB
We accept most Supercars and Sports Cars on our tours, but some exclusions apply. For more information, speak to one of our team.
Please note that the deposit is fully refundable in the event of further COVID-19 government restrictions preventing us from travel to this area.
Drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age to be able to join our trips and need to provide a copy of their drivers license to us at least 2 weeks before we set off. Each driver will be asked to sign an indemnity form also.
As part of the experience, we will share with you a Google map route link with turn by turn instructions along with a printed map on the day showing post code waypoints and stops. Although radios are not necessary for our day tours for longer trips they are essential so we do encourage participants to purchase a Mitex General professional handset to allow our lead tour drivers to communicate with each vehicle along the way.
We do insist on sensible driving but encourage this at a swift pace. Due to the nature of our tours as a group of dedicated drivers wanting the ultimate driving experience, we do not condone dangerous driving and drivers may be asked to leave the group if we find reckless behaviour that creates danger for other tour participants and road users.
We reserve the right to change any part of the route or hotel choices if unforeseen problems arise. We also reserve the right to cancel the tour and refund monies paid if circumstances stop us carrying out the tour.
Altitude Drivers Club are social driving adventures organiser and NOT- guided tours, races, rallies, time trials or competitive events organiser in any way.
