Limited to only 20 Supercars, this 10-day, 9-night tour- is dedicated to exploring the most coveted driving roads in the Portuguese and Picos Mountain ranges. The journey includes a mini cruise aboard the ship Port Aven, featuring luxury cabins for both the outward and return journeys. Savor delightful dining experiences with evening meals and breakfasts served in the A La Carte restaurant.
As we arrive in Santander, the driving adventure commences within an hour, navigating through incredible roads leading to our medieval monastery hotel. The ensuing days promise captivating and invigorating drives along deserted roads. Midway through the tour, we reach Porto, Portugal, renowned for its Port Wine and the Douro River, where two nights of entertainment await at our Signature 5-Star Hotel.
The following day takes us to experience the unique charm of our Hotel Vineyard, where nature takes center stage, providing a delightful feast for all the senses within the confines of the Old Nineteenth-Century Manor. On the penultimate day, we return to the Picos de Europa for our final hotel located in the Fuentes Carrionas Nature Reserve, a natural area of unique splendor in the northern Palencia Province.

DAY 1: Plymouth - Santander
|
Plymouth to Santander- Meeting at the Maritime Docks of Plymouth at around 2pm, upon loading the cars we are shown our cabins on the mini cruise ship "PORT AVEN" which we will be taking to the famous bank city of "SANTANDER" Included onbaord is dinner in the elegant à la carte restaurant, "Le Flora" which is situated at the aft of the ship where you can watch the sea slide by as well as observe our chefs in action in the open kitchen followed by live entertainment in the "Grand La Pavois" lounge bar. There is also Whale and Dolphin watching organised by ORCA on the upper deck.

Port Aven Cruise Ship - On board you will reside in your own luxury large Club Cabin and enjoy a fabulous three coarse dinner in the al a Carte Restraunt. MV Pont-Aven is a cruiseferry operated by Brittany Ferries. She was built at Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany and has been sailing for Brittany Ferries since March 2004. DAY 2: Santander - cangas de onis |
Cangas de Onis- Breakfast will be served on board Port Aven before disembarkation where we then take the scenic route through "Picos de Europa" eventually arriving at our Parador hotel in Cangas de Onis in Asturias. this is a pretty medieval town beside the stunning mountain backdrop of the Picos de Europa National Park. Cangas de Onís was represented in the Junta General of the principality of Asturias in 1504. Covadonga began to be developed as a pilgrimage site in the 16th century, attracting commerce. The settlement of Cangas de Onís grew rapidly in the mid 19th century.

Secret Hotel 4 Star - Your hotel for the evening is this medieval monastery on the banks of the Sella river in Asturias which is now a four-star Parador that is a comfortable retreat after a days driving in the Picos de Europa mountains. This is a place to soak up the history while enjoying the superb local cuisine..

Cangas de Onis- "After an incredible day driving hand picked routes around "Picos de Europa" we eventually arrive back at Parador hotel in Cangas de Onis in Asturias. This is a pretty medieval town beside the stunning mountain backdrop of the Picos de Europa National Park. Cangas de Onís was represented in the Junta General of the principality of Asturias in 1504. DAY 4: Cangas de onis - Cangas del Narcea |
Cangas del Narcea- Cangas del Narcea is the oldest municipality in the Principality of Asturias in Spain. It is also the largest municipality in Asturias. It is in the southwest of Asturias, on the Asturian border with León. Formerly, Cangas del Narcea was known as Cangas de Tineo.

DAY 5: Cangas del Narcea - Porto |
Porto- is a coastal city in northwest Portugal known for its stately bridges and port wine production. In the medieval Ribeira (riverside) district, narrow cobbled streets wind past merchants’ houses and cafes. São Francisco Church is known for its lavish baroque interior with ornate gilded carvings. The palatial 19th-century Palácio de Bolsa, formerly a stock market, was built to impress potential European investors.

DAY 6: Porto |
Porto- Located along the Douro River estuary in northern Portugal, Porto is one of the oldest European centers, and its core was proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996, as the "Historic Centre of Porto, Luiz I Bridge and Monastery of Serra do Pilar". The historic area is also a National Monument of Portugal. The western part of its urban area extends to the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean. Its settlement dates back many centuries when it was an outpost of the Roman Empire. Its combined Celtic-Latin name, Portus Cale has been referred to as the origin of the name Portugal, based on transliteration and oral evolution from Latin.

DAY 8: Adeganah-Cervera de Pisuerga, |
Cervera de Pisuerga- located in the Fuentes Carrionas Nature Reserve, a natural area of unique splendor in northern Palencia Province and the habitual refuge of the brown bear. The hotel is in a wooded area, offering spectacular views, with the waters of Ruesga Reservoir beside it and the Picos de Europa mountains as a backdrop. Here you will discover a landscape of incredible beauty. We invite you to enjoy an exquisite breakfast in one of our balcony rooms with a view of the reservoir

DAY 9: Cervera de Pisuerga - Santander |
La Hermida to Santander-Today we head off on some more great driving roads heading for Santander to catch our mini cruise ship "PORT AVEN" Once on board you will be shown your cabins for the overnight sail. Included is dinner in the elegant à la carte restaurant, Le Flora, is situated at the aft of the ship where you can watch the sea slide by as well as observe our chefs in action in the open kitchen.followed by live entertainment in the Grand La Pavois lounge bar. Day 10: Plymouth-Home |
Home Sweet Home- Breakfast is served on the ship and our ETA in Plymouth is around 2pm. There is also Whale and Dolphin watching organised by ORCA on the upper deck. With memories to treasure, we hope you have enjoyed this luxury adventure and got the best out of your supercars on these unbelievable driving roads.

THE REQUIREMENTS
TO DRIVE WITH ALTITUDE DRIVERS CLUB
We accept many Supercars and Sports Cars on our tours, but some exclusions apply see our qualifying car list in the navigation bar above.. For more information, speak to one of our team.
We only require a £1400 deposit to reserve your booking and the balance isn't due until 8 weeks prior to departure. The balance can be split into monthly payments with final payment 8 weeks before the tour if you'd prefer to pay for your Supercar road trip that way. Please note that the deposit is fully refundable in the event of further COVID-19 government restrictions preventing us from travel to this area.
Drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age to be able to join our trips and need to provide a copy of their drivers license to us at least 2 weeks before we set off. Each driver will be asked to sign an indemnity form also.
As part of the experience, we will share with you a Google map route link with turn by turn instructions along with a printed map on the day showing post code waypoints and stops. Participants will be asked to purchase a Mitex General professional handset or one of our compatible radios to allow our lead tour drivers to communicate with each vehicle along the way. We do insist on sensible driving but encourage this at a swift pace. Due to the nature of our tours as a group of dedicated drivers wanting the ultimate driving experience, we do not condone dangerous driving and drivers may be asked to leave the group if we find reckless behaviour that creates danger for other tour participants and road users.
We reserve the right to change any part of the route or hotel choices if unforeseen problems arise. We also reserve the right to cancel the tour and refund monies paid if circumstances stop us carrying out the tour.
Altitude Drivers Club are social driving adventures organiser and NOT- guided tours, races, rallies, time trials or competitive events organiser in any way.
