AREAS WE VISIT
As we arrive in Santander, the driving adventure commences almost immediately, heading inland across to the town of Pamplona, Nestled in the heart of Navarre in northern Spain, Pamplona is a city steeped in history and renowned worldwide for its cultural vibrancy, stunning architecture, and thrilling festivals. Known primarily for the Running of the Bulls during the San Fermín Festival each July.
The ensuing days promise captivating and invigorating drives along deserted roads. Midway through the tour, we reach Andorra. The Principality of Andorra is a landlocked country in the Pyrenees mountain range between Spain and France. It is one of the smallest countries in Europe, in this tax haven we enjoy two nights of entertainment in our Signature 5-Star Hotel.
Leaving Andorra behind we head for Louron Valley in France, the Valley is remarkable for its stunning landscape as it is for its architectural treasures. The unspoilt, verdant valley encompasses numerous picture perfect villages such as Avajan, Bareilles and Vielle-Louron, constructed from stone, wood and the local valley slate. Romaneque churches perch precariously on mountainsides and further enhance the valley's rich architectural heritage; many displaying frescos dating back to the 16th century. On the penultimate day, we head for Picos de Europa for our final hotel located in the Fuentes Carrionas Nature Reserve, a natural area of unique splendour in the northern Palencia Province.
Our penultimate day sees us navigating across to San Sebastian, which is a resort town on the Bay of Biscay in Spain’s mountainous Basque Country. It’s known for Playa de la Concha and Playa de Ondarreta, beaches framed by a picturesque bayfront promenade, and world-renowned restaurants helmed by innovative chefs. In its cobblestoned old town (Parte Vieja), upscale shops neighbour vibrant Pintxo bars pairing local wines with bite-size regional specialties.
Each hotel possesses its own distinctive charm, many boasting luxurious spa facilities and strategically located in some of the most awe-inspiring destinations.
During this extraordinary event, you'll have the opportunity to navigate the most exceptional handcrafted routes, some of which rank among the finest in all of Europe.
With over 25 years of experience navigating these roads, we bring an extensive knowledge of the areas. The unparalleled quality of the tarmac and flawless twisties makes it the best I've encountered in Europe, with the added bonus of minimal traffic, elevating the experience to truly fantastic levels.

THE REQUIREMENTS
TO DRIVE WITH ALTITUDE DRIVERS CLUB
We accept many Supercars and Sports Cars on our tours, but some exclusions apply see our qualifying car list in the navigation bar above.. For more information, speak to one of our team.
We only require a £1400 deposit to reserve your booking and the balance isn't due until 8 weeks prior to departure. The balance can be split into monthly payments with final payment 8 weeks before the tour if you'd prefer to pay for your Supercar road trip that way. Please note that the deposit is fully refundable in the event of further COVID-19 government restrictions preventing us from travel to this area.
Drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age to be able to join our trips and need to provide a copy of their drivers license to us at least 2 weeks before we set off. Each driver will be asked to sign an indemnity form also.
As part of the experience, we will share with you a Google map route link with turn by turn instructions along with a printed map on the day showing post code waypoints and stops. Participants will be asked to purchase a Mitex General professional handset or one of our compatible radios to allow our lead tour drivers to communicate with each vehicle along the way. We do insist on sensible driving but encourage this at a swift pace. Due to the nature of our tours as a group of dedicated drivers wanting the ultimate driving experience, we do not condone dangerous driving and drivers may be asked to leave the group if we find reckless behaviour that creates danger for other tour participants and road users.
We reserve the right to change any part of the route or hotel choices if unforeseen problems arise. We also reserve the right to cancel the tour and refund monies paid if circumstances stop us carrying out the tour.
Altitude Drivers Club are social driving adventures organiser and NOT- guided tours, races, rallies, time trials or competitive events organiser in any way.
